I posted a free download of the Oliver & Emalie song over on the Songs page. Many of you had been asking if the song was on iTunes. To that I say, well, how about getting it for free instead? If you like it, pass it along to all your friends, family and foes!
September 2, 2009: Bumbershoot, and an Oliver Nocturne Song!
If you live in Seattle, you can see me in the program "Vampires and Robots" at Bumbershoot this weekend (you can also catch my band 'The Board of Education' on Sunday). In addition to reading, I'll also be playing a brand new song about Oliver called 'Oliver & Emalie.' What's that, a song you say? Well, yeah. I wrote it about 'The Vampire's Photograph.' It tells the story of Oliver and also of Emalie and how they get swept up in this big and dangerous plot. I never tried writing a song about a book before. You can listen by clicking here, or on the new 'Songs' button to the left. If you like it, pass it along, if not, that's all good too. I'm working on a song about Dean, too.:)

Finally, I have finished and posted the second Emalie's Account! This is a short story that takes place between Oliver books #2 and #3. Emalie is following clues about her mom's disappearance. She finds more danger than she bargained for, and runs into a major character from the books! Click here or follow the link to the left to read Emalie's Account!

Many people ask Kevin if he is working on Book 6 yet. The answer is yes. They ask when it will come out. The answer is, he has no idea. It has something to do with 'business' and 'sales.'

April 15, 2009: Eternal Tomb Seattle Release Party this Weekend!
Oliver Nocturne #5, The Eternal Tomb, is officially out TODAY!! To celebrate, join Kevin for a Release Party this Saturday, April 18th at Mockingbird Books in the Greenlake neighborhood of Seattle. Kevin will be reading and signing, and will be joined by guest student readers. There will also be an acoustic show by Kevin's band, The Board of Education! It should be super-fun. If you're near Seattle, come on down!

Thanks to everyone who's been posting on the message board here at the site, commenting on the O.N. blog, and being Oliver's friend on Facebook!
It's so cool. And remember, Longest Night is approaching for the vampires, (as well as some human holidays too), and the Oliver books are like, priced for these economic times! Finally, Oliver #4: The Demon Hunter, will be out around Feb 1.
October 11, 2008: Oliver #3 is Out!
'Blood Ties' appeared online and in bookstores last week, well ahead of its scheduled November 1st release date. Horrrayy! The new volume is so ahead of schedule, that the Emalie's account that precedes it isn't even finished. It will be online by November 1.
August 3, 2008: Read Emalie's Account
In between Oliver Nocturne books 1 and 2, Emalie's adventures as a young Orani continue. The First Account is NOW ONLINE. Click on the link to the left to read her journal from the months between the two books, and learn cool details that will appear in later books. Emalie's second account, between books 2 and 3, will appear in September.
July 14, 2008: Oliver is on the shelves!!!
As of this moment, books #1 and #2 of Oliver Nocturne are officially released and available both online and in-stores. They've been sighted on the shelves at Barnes and Noble in Seattle and Boston. If you don't see them on the shelf of your favorite bookstore, ask them to order some!
